Frequently asked questions on shared leadership

The questions I encounter most – answered concisely. For anything else, the intro call is the best way.

About the topic

Questions about the topic

What is shared leadership?

A leadership model in which several people deliberately and in a regulated way share a leadership role and its responsibility. In detail in the guide.

What’s the difference between a dual leadership and a tandem?

In a dual leadership each person has a full role; in a tandem two people share one role.

What does shared leadership most often fail on?

Almost always on missing structure – unclear roles and a missing rule for disagreement. Rarely on the people.

Is shared leadership suitable for every role?

No. Roles that need a fast, single final decision are often better in one hand.
